2. What data we collect

Newsletter subscribers

When you sign up for the Euphronic newsletter, we collect:

• Your email address
• The date you subscribed
• Engagement metrics (whether you open emails, click links)

Website visitors

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly:

• No cookies are set
• No personal data is collected
• Only aggregate page-view counts are stored

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking technologies.

3. Lawful basis (GDPR Art. 6)

Newsletter subscription is processed under consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing george@euphronic.com.

4. Subprocessors

Email delivery is handled by Beehiiv (Bird, Inc., USA). Data is transferred under EU Standard Contractual Clauses per GDPR Art. 46. Beehiiv's privacy policy: beehiiv.com/privacy.

Email forwarding for *@euphronic.com is handled by Cloudflare Inc. (USA) under EU SCCs. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

5. Your rights (GDPR Art. 15-22)

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data (right of access)
• Correct inaccurate data (right to rectification)
• Delete your data (right to erasure)
• Restrict processing
• Receive your data in machine-readable form (data portability)
• Object to processing
• Lodge a complaint with ÚOOÚ (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, the Czech supervisory authority)

To exercise any right, email george@euphronic.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Data retention

• Newsletter subscriber data: retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days
• Email forwarding logs: 7 days (Cloudflare default), then deleted
• Web analytics: 6 months aggregate data, then deleted

7. International transfers

Data may be transferred to the United States via Beehiiv and Cloudflare. These transfers are protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) per GDPR Art. 46.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will note the change date at the top of this page and notify newsletter subscribers via email.
